The annual HIS Furniture Giveaway is held near the start date of the fall semester at Kansas State University. This large giveaway event has served more than 200+ students each year, giving away hundreds of furniture items. Furniture is given on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. There is a limit on the number of furniture items each attendee may select, and volunteers will assist international students and their family members in transporting their selected items to their homes.

Registration will open at a designated time prior to the giveaway, and the registration time will be announced on our social media pages link to facebook page , website, and email listserv. Once the online pre-registration is open, you should sign up as soon as possible to ensure you spot “in line” at the giveaway. Based on the time that your pre-registration form is submitted, you will be emailed by HIS staff with further instructions for selecting your furniture items.
