“I love what I do – and what I do is make friends and assist wherever possible.”

Terry Cole has been actively welcoming international students for many years. He and his wife, Robbin, have had numerous close friendships with internationals. They have hosted a Bible study at their home for close to a decade, served as a host family for six high school foreign exchange students, and traveled to Brazil to assist and serve alongside the church there.

Terry has a huge servant's heart and an innate ability to connect personally with others. As Director of the HIS Association, Terry is committed to making connections with pastors, facilitators, community organizations and as many of the 2,500 K-State international students as he can. He enjoys casting vision among Americans who share his true heart for welcoming internationals.

In his free time, Terry enjoys spending time with Robbin, his wife of 25 years, and his three sons, daughter, and two grandkids. A jack-of-all-trades, Terry can be found doing everything from cleaning swimming pools to fixing his son’s car to taking food to a widow from church.
